Steinorth Fine Homes

Steinorth Fine Homes is a leading design build company located in Northern Michigan since 1975.  We are well known for being at the forefront of the green building movement in our region and for our distinctive custom design work.  Much of our design has been influenced by the philosophies of Sarah Susanka, AIA who has achieved national acclaim for her "Not So Big House" books, which present concepts for designing homes that focus on quality of space rather than quantity.

In our designs, we place importance on great space planning and beautiful finish materials to produce homes that feel spacious, that suit the way we live and capture the real essence of home.  We believe energy efficient environmentally responsible homes should be available to people in all income brackets, so we offer a variety of options to fit a multitude of budgets.
